Contributions to The Research Project

1) I assigned the workload to each group member to do a literature review on our team’s technical design proposal, the Autostore system (manufacturing process) in NTUC Fairprice’s warehouse. Compartmentalization of the team is necessary to maximize results and increase productivity from each member. 2) I did a literature review on the current technology that is being used in the NTUC Fairprice’s warehouse and discovered that they were using the Autostore system by Swisslog. 3) Upon further review of our technical proposal made by our course instructor, I made the decision to change the target audience of our proposal and change the focus from the marketing of the product to the mechanical design and manufacturing of the said product. 4) For the oral presentation, I decided to start off the presentation by going first as I believe the slides I created for the introduction will be able to capture the attention of the audience and get them interested in the design proposal.  5) In the...
